Battery Specifications

AeroTech Services required a custom battery solution meeting the following specifications:

 

  • Dimension: Maximum 1200mm x 800mm x 600mm to fit within various GSE designs
  • Weight: Not exceeding 1000 kg to maintain equipment maneuverability and payload capacity
  • Voltage: 80V nominal
  • Capacity: Minimum 600Ah, with a target of 800Ah for extended operation time
  • Discharge Rating: Continuous discharge rate of 1C, with peak capability of 3C for 60 seconds to handle high-power demands
  • Chemistry: Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) for long cycle life, safety, and extreme temperature performance
  • BMS (Battery Management System):Advanced cell balancing with individual cell monitoring
  • Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity for remote diagnostics and fleet management
  • Adaptive power management based on equipment type, load, and operational patterns
  • Self-diagnostic capabilities with predictive maintenance alerts
  • Certifications: UL 2580, IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, DO-311A for aviation ground equipment
